Importantly, MBCT-L is an adaptation tailored to nonclinical populations and has been shown to be effective in improving well-being and mental health outcomes in various populations, including health care workers, as evidenced in previous work [16-20], including a recent randomized controlled trial (RCT) that showed moderate to large effects on health care staff well-being derived from MBCT-L compared to a waitlist control [21].
