Analyzing Usage of the Metaverse by Associations of Patients With Prostate Cancer During the 2023 Blue Ribbon Campaign: Cross-Sectional Survey Study

A questionnaire was used to assess satisfaction with participation in the metaverse, and data were collected from September 15 to October 20, 2023, during the Blue Ribbon Campaign hosted by the Korean Urological Association and the Korean Urological Oncology Society. The study aimed to collect information about users’ awareness of their metaverse experience without imposing any restrictions on research participation.

Analyzing Satellite Imagery to Target Tuberculosis Control Interventions in Densely Urbanized Areas of Kigali, Rwanda: Cross-Sectional Pilot Study

In total, 10,423 persons were screened using Medi Scout (Savics, Belgium), a digitally supported questionnaire adapted from a previous study [8]. The screening and selection process was conducted by the local National TB Program after they were given access to the UDI map. The questionnaire (see Table S1 in Multimedia Appendix 1 for the list of questions) was composed of three sets of questions evaluating the symptoms, environment, and health history of the individual.

Participants were not necessarily experts in the field of AI or data analysis and did not receive any additional information on the project beyond what was stated in the questionnaire preamble. There is currently no standardized questionnaire for AI-based CDSS predevelopment. This questionnaire was developed by 2 intensive care physicians and a medical informatics expert after consultation with experts in data science and user experience.

The reliability and internal consistency of every element of the MARS questionnaire were assessed using Cronbach α. The rating of “Engagement” had a Cronbach α value of 0.867, indicating a high degree of internal consistency. The concept of “Functionality” demonstrated a significant degree of internal consistency, as indicated via a Cronbach α value of 0.904. The concept of “Aesthetics” had a notably high Cronbach α rating of 0.905, suggesting a commendable level of internal consistency.

This sheet detailed the study’s eligibility criteria, purpose, methodologies, and any potential risks involved.
