Remote Patient Monitoring System for Polypathological Older Adults at High Risk for Hospitalization: Retrospective Cohort Study

Remote Patient Monitoring System for Polypathological Older Adults at High Risk for Hospitalization: Retrospective Cohort Study

This study follows the MR004 framework of French research methodology; it requires a CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) declaration and patient consent. However, ethics committee approval—equivalent to institutional review board approval—was not required, given the retrospective nature of the data analysis.

AI Predictive Model of Mortality and Intensive Care Unit Admission in the COVID-19 Pandemic: Retrospective Population Cohort Study of 12,000 Patients

AI Predictive Model of Mortality and Intensive Care Unit Admission in the COVID-19 Pandemic: Retrospective Population Cohort Study of 12,000 Patients

The Hospital Universitario de Fuenlabrada (HUF) is the reference hospital for a population close to 220,000 inhabitants in the south of Madrid. This means that HUF is the only hospital where people from Fuenlabrada are admitted due to COVID-19. It has attended to more than 5000 hospitalized patients for COVID-19 with a mortality rate changing depending on the vaccination status and the SARS-Co V-2 variants. Massive vaccination campaigns have become the primary strategy against the pandemic.

Investigating the Complexity of Multidimensional Symptom Experiences in Patients With Cancer: Systematic Review of the Network Analysis Approach

Investigating the Complexity of Multidimensional Symptom Experiences in Patients With Cancer: Systematic Review of the Network Analysis Approach

Individual depressive symptom patterns should be considered in individuals rather than in group analyses. de Rooij et al [30] aimed to explore the full complexity of symptoms. In a study evaluating symptom clusters in 1330 survivors of 7 cancer types, they reported that fatigue was consistently the most central symptom in an identified cluster and should be targeted.

Responses were de-identified at the source, and all data were stored on secure, password-protected servers with restricted access. Following the completion of the study, participants received HIV prevention information and were directed to institutional websites for additional details on HIV/AIDS prevention. For individuals interested in Pr EP usage who provided their contact email, a list of centers offering Pr EP consultations in their state/region was supplied.
