Following the launch of the dashboard, we conducted a cross-sectional study targeting adults older than 18 years who lived or worked in Cayuga County using a 20-question online Qualtrics survey [20]. We conducted 2 phases of participant recruitment, resulting in a convenience sample. During the initial recruitment phase, spanning from May to August 2023, participants were offered a US $10 Amazon gift card as an incentive.

As such, the goal of this study was to assess the facilitators and barriers to using a third-party technology system as a strategy to support MOUD services specifically within a primary care setting. The institutional review board of the University of California, Los Angeles approved all study procedures (IRB #20‐001516-AM-00004). All participants provided written informed consent prior to the interview and received a US $50 electronic gift card for completing each interview.
