Associations Between Patient-Reported Outcome Measures of Physical and Psychological Functioning and Willingness to Share Social Media Data for Research Among Adolescents With a Chronic Rheumatic Disease: Cross-Sectional Survey

Additionally, social media data may be obtained actively via approaches that involve permissioned sharing, opt-in settings, and explicit notifications [34-38]. Regulatory efforts are being enacted to protect the privacy and autonomy of youth in web-based spaces [39,40]. As such, it is vital to understand whether young cohorts are willing to actively share their social media data for health research and whether health status differs between sharing and nonsharing groups [41].

Public Deliberation Process on Patient Perspectives on Health Information Sharing: Evaluative Descriptive Study

These different options to notify and maintain transparency with patients about clinical data sharing highlight different potential roles and responsibilities for the public in the health information ecosystem. What is more, patient preferences about these different approaches to notification remain unclear. Here, we describe our use of a public deliberation approach to understand data sharing preferences of current and former cancer patients, particularly related to the use and sharing of clinical data.

The Sharing Economy in China’s Aging Industry: Applications, Challenges, and Recommendations

The Sharing Economy in China’s Aging Industry: Applications, Challenges, and Recommendations

Given the fixed and inflexible nature of many age care resources, the sharing economy’s innovations in technology and management promise to improve the balance between age care demand and supply. Faced by an absence of a consensus on the definition of the sharing economy and little published quantitative or qualitative research on the sharing aging industry [5,6], we specify an aging industry sharing economy framework, which is assessed and evaluated for China’s sharing aging industry.
