Capturing Everyday Parental Feeding Practices and Eating Behaviors of 3- to 5-Year-Old Children With Avid Eating Behavior: Ecological Momentary Assessment Feasibility and Acceptability Study

Parents were notified to complete 1 start-of-day survey, 3 signal-contingent examining mood and emotions, 1 end-of-day survey, and event surveys activated by the parent when their child ate or asked for food. Participants were able to schedule the morning and evening surveys to suit their typical routine. The full protocol and procedure are reported elsewhere [11]. Parents received a £100 (approximately US $126) shopping voucher if at least 8 “full” days of surveys were complete.

Effect of a Short, Animated Storytelling Video on Transphobia Among US Parents: Randomized Controlled Trial

Effect of a Short, Animated Storytelling Video on Transphobia Among US Parents: Randomized Controlled Trial

Not only does affirmation from the general parent community positively impact TGD children directly, it also makes it easier for the parents of TGD children to adopt gender-affirming attitudes toward their children, when these prevail in the broader parent community [20,21]. Importantly, a parent’s journey toward acceptance and support of their TGD child begins with them as a member of the general parent community [22].

Gender Inequalities in Employment of Parents Caring for Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder in China: Cross-Sectional Study

Gender Inequalities in Employment of Parents Caring for Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder in China: Cross-Sectional Study

Due to the child’s significant needs, daycare availability may be limited, leading to a parent needing to stay at home [2]. Comparative research suggests that parents of children with ASD spend more time providing care for their children at home than those of children without special health care needs [3]. There is strong evidence suggesting that having a child with ASD in the household adversely affects the employment status of the parents [4,5].

An e-Learning Intervention for Professionals to Promote Family-Centered Cancer Care When a Significant Caregiver for Children Is at End of Life: Mixed Methods Evaluation Study

Most professionals highlighted the beneficial learning obtained from viewing, and for some reviewing, the videos within the e-learning intervention that role-played parent-professional communication across the end-of-life trajectory. However, to enable further application of the learning and to problem-solve challenging parent-professional conversations, several participants indicated the desire for experiential and participatory learning in a training environment.
