Our study specifically aims to address this gap by (1) gaining insights into the listening habits and safe listening behaviors of video gamers and esports players, exploring the determinants of these behaviors; (2) understanding the link between attitudes, beliefs, awareness, and stages of change regarding auditory health; and (3) identifying the most effective sources of information that can be leveraged to promote safer listening practices.

Malaysia reported a significant correlation between Google Trends search patterns and Pink Ribbon Month, a breast cancer awareness campaign [16]. Among several internet search engines, Google was also shown to have the best search validity (regarding whether a web page could be opened) for breast cancer screening information [17]. In contrast, a previous Japanese study analyzed trends in cervical cancer and reported no change in public interest during the cervical cancer awareness month [18].

The objective of this study was to explore perceptions and experiences of prediabetes awareness and National DPP participation among Hispanic adults. The findings from this study will inform future interventions to increase prediabetes awareness and National DPP participation in a high-risk population while helping promote racial and ethnic equity in the prevention of T2 D.
A qualitative descriptive approach was used [20].

The study highlights the potential of social media platforms in increasing organ donation awareness on social media. Other studies have investigated the ethical challenges in the use of social media in relation to privacy and confidentiality, pointing to the fact that there are no national ethical guidelines in the United States in relation to social media use for fostering organ transplantation [9].

Inspired by findings that a problem-based view of EHR data improves clinician awareness, prioritization, and decision-making in the intensive care unit [14], we adapted a similar approach for patients anchored in the data-frame sensemaking theory [15]. Data frames (ie, structured mental models) or collections of health data, as we refer to them in our previous work [13], systematically break down problems and help in answering complex questions.

Since most wearables are designed to improve their users’ awareness of their own health-related behavior and provide them with leads on what needs to change and how they are progressing, improvement in health outcomes may be preceded by increased awareness and self-efficacy.

Emotional self-awareness, which refers to recognizing and expressing one’s emotions as they occur [14], is crucial for achieving emotional well-being, as low levels of emotional awareness have consistently been linked to diminished emotional well-being, reduced quality of life, problems in interpersonal relationships, and a higher risk of mental health disorders like depression and anxiety [15,16].

There was a statistically significant difference in awareness among respondents who consider themselves tech experts compared with those who do not (P=.03), but no significant differences were found between males and females, medical students, and pathology residents. Furthermore, 67.5% (266/394) of respondents reported having a basic awareness of the technologies used in these fields (Table 2).

Through numerous studies, researchers found that early detection can significantly reduce fatal outcomes, and awareness is one of the keys to early detection [2]. Spreading awareness is a challenge for different societies for various reasons, and researchers have been working on identifying those for a long time.

Awareness (“AWAR”), as the second mediator, is one of the most commonly investigated variables related to information security–related behavior [29-32]. It is mostly considered to play a mediating role between the exogenous variables and the endogenous compliance variable (“COMP”). In our research model, it also acts as a mediator and reports on physicians’ awareness of the risks, threats, policies and responsibilities related to information security in their hospital.
