Items on perceived barriers to and benefits of PA were selected from 2 existing questionnaires [23,24], as previously used by Van Waart et al [11]. Potential barriers were assessed using 18 items assessing motivation, money, time, energy, other obligations, transportation, support for exercise, counseling about exercise, limited possibilities in the environment, pleasure, family obligations, fear of injuries, discipline, health conditions, nausea, fatigue, pain, and work responsibilities.

Supporting Lung Cancer Patients With an Interactive Patient Portal: Feasibility Study

To support lung cancer patients in the Netherlands Cancer Institute Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital (AVL in Dutch), we developed an interactive portal (Mijn AVL; My AVL in English). My AVL includes patient education, an overview of appointments, access to the electronic medical record (EMR), PROs with feedback of the scores, and tailored physical activity support.

eHealth for Breast Cancer Survivors: Use, Feasibility and Impact of an Interactive Portal

In the Netherlands Cancer Institute (Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital; AVL) we have developed an e Health application to support cancer survivors during the whole cancer trajectory, known as Mijn AVL (My AVL in English). Mijn AVL is a secured portal that provides survivors with personalized information, insight into their health status, and tailored physical activity advice. The aim of this study was to evaluate the use, feasibility, and impact of Mijn AVL among breast cancer survivors.
