We note that there is no agreed-upon definition of what an ethical challenge is [10], but for the purpose of this paper, we defined it as follows: “an ethical challenge occurs when one does not know how to behave and act in the best way” [11].

IT tools could be highly beneficial for community-based caregiver assessment, service delivery, and the evaluation of a broad range of interventions, increasing access and convenience. To date, most projects examining innovative IT tools focus on feasibility and acceptance with studies of limited sample sizes [9-11].

Throughout the last decades, IT investments have grown significantly in all industries. Smaller portions of IT service providers´ budgets are often allocated to seeking improvements in their product or service development practices. Human-centered design (HCD) or user-centered design (UCD) belongs to this portion.

Determinants of Laypersons’ Trust in Medical Decision Aids: Randomized Controlled Trial
In terms of symptom checkers, anthropomorphic framing could be used to increase expertise perception because of humanization (ie, making it more human like) or technological framing (eg, artificial intelligence [AI]) because of technologization (ie, emphasizing its technological nature so that it is seen as an expert system).

For subjective opinion about app quality, 92% (48/52) of the study participants said they would recommend the app to several people, 56% (29/52) of the study participants also declared that they would use the app more than 3-10 times in the next 12 months, and 59% (31/52) said that they would not be willing to pay for it. Finally, 88% (46/52) of the participants gave more than 3 stars for the app when asked to rate it (Table 2, comment 11) (Figure 3).
