Implementation of Medication-Related Technology and Its Impact on Pharmacy Workflow: Real-World Evidence Usability Study

Implementation of Medication-Related Technology and Its Impact on Pharmacy Workflow: Real-World Evidence Usability Study

Differences among the intervention periods were analyzed using chi-square or Fisher exact tests. The Bonferroni method was applied to adjust for multiple comparisons. All statistical analyses were conducted using R software (version 4.1.0, R Foundation for Statistical Computing).

Short-Term Effects of an eHealth Care Experiential Learning Program Among Patients With Type 2 Diabetes: Randomized Controlled Trial

Short-Term Effects of an eHealth Care Experiential Learning Program Among Patients With Type 2 Diabetes: Randomized Controlled Trial

Independent sample t tests (2-tailed) and chi-square tests (2-tailed) were used to compare the homogeneity of the pretest data between the 2 groups. To avoid overestimating the effect of the intervention while not ruling out loss to follow-up, intention-to-treat analysis was used.

The Effectiveness of Online-Only Blended Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training: Static-Group Comparison Study

The Effectiveness of Online-Only Blended Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training: Static-Group Comparison Study

Differences between the 2 groups were compared with the chi-square test for categorical variables and the nonparametric Mann-Whitney U test and a parametric independent-sample t test for continuous variables. Multiple linear regression analyses were conducted to evaluate the association between the BL modalities, deliberate practice measures, and study outcomes after adjusting for age, gender, occupation, and other variables that had been revealed as significant in the univariate analysis.

Knowledge Acquisition and Social Support in Online Health Communities: Analysis of an Online Ovarian Cancer Community

Knowledge Acquisition and Social Support in Online Health Communities: Analysis of an Online Ovarian Cancer Community

Chi-square results revealed a significant association between the levels of learning objectives and the topics of disease management (χ22=17.2; P Figure 6 shows the proportions of different topic pairs among the 245 topic pairs extracted from questions with >1 topic. Notably, treatment and symptom management were most likely to appear together in a single post (72/245, 29.4%).

Exploring Resource-Sharing Behaviors for Finding Relevant Health Resources: Analysis of an Online Ovarian Cancer Community

Exploring Resource-Sharing Behaviors for Finding Relevant Health Resources: Analysis of an Online Ovarian Cancer Community

To address the RQs, we first determined the relevance of the shared resources and later used different resource-sharing behaviors to calculate their association with relevance using a chi-square test. For Ov Ca OHC data, we relied on NOCC [38]. NOCC is a subcommunity of the Cancer Connect Community [39], which brings together survivors of Ov Ca and caregivers.

Validity Testing and Cultural Adaptation of the eHealth Literacy Questionnaire (eHLQ) Among People With Chronic Diseases in Taiwan: Mixed Methods Study

Validity Testing and Cultural Adaptation of the eHealth Literacy Questionnaire (eHLQ) Among People With Chronic Diseases in Taiwan: Mixed Methods Study

Although the chi-square test is a commonly used fit index, it has been found that it is sensitive to sample size and always rejects models when the sample size is large, while severe deviations from normality may also lead to model rejections [29,30].

Applying Computerized Adaptive Testing to the Negative Acts Questionnaire-Revised: Rasch Analysis of Workplace Bullying

Applying Computerized Adaptive Testing to the Negative Acts Questionnaire-Revised: Rasch Analysis of Workplace Bullying

This study was approved and monitored by the Research Ethics Review Board of the Chi-Mei Medical Center. Demographic data collected included gender, work tenure in hospitals of all types, age, marital status, and education level. The Negative Acts Questionnaire-Revised (NAQ-R) [27] used in this study has 22 items with 5 response alternatives (1=never, 2=occasionally, 3=monthly, 4=weekly, 5=daily) to measure exposure to workplace bullying within the past 6 months.
