In Phase 1, we conducted iterative usability testing of user interface prototypes with patients and HCPs in two thoracic oncology clinics. The expert panels had created computable symptom management algorithms that specified validated patient-reported symptom measures and clinical data that were required to process the algorithms in a previous project [23].
