Characteristics of Participants and Nonparticipants in a Blended Internet-Based Physical Activity Trial for Breast and Prostate Cancer Survivors: Cross-sectional Study

Respondents rated on a 0-10 response scale, how likely they thought it was that they would exercise when tired, in a bad mood, when feeling pressed for time, when on holiday, or with bad weather [24]. The overall self-efficacy score was obtained by calculating the average of all items, ranging from 0 to 10. A higher score indicates a stronger sense of self-efficacy. Cronbach α for this scale in our sample was .85.
