In agreement with van den Berg et al [14] and Korfage et al [13], we classified scores in the range of 45 to 55 as a neutral attitude. Scores 55 were classified as having a positive attitude. Intention was measured by asking the respondents whether they intended to participate in the next CC screening round. All questions regarding attitude and intention had 3 response options: “Yes,” “I do not know,” and “No.”

Differences in the amount of question-asking were assessed using paired-samples t tests. The relationship between the first QPL topic choice by the patients and the number of questions asked by patients and health care professionals about that topic during consultations were assessed by simple linear regression analyses.
