Defining the Supportive Care Needs and Psychological Morbidity of Patients With Functioning Versus Nonfunctioning Neuroendocrine Tumors: Protocol for a Phase 1 Trial of a Nurse-Led Online and Phone-Based Intervention

Dichotomous valued variables will be compared between groups using Fisher exact test. Nominal valued variables will be compared between groups using Pearson chi-squared test of independence. Responses to patient-reported outcome measures at baseline and follow-up will be compared between groups using independent samples t tests; between-groups differences on EORTC QLQ-C30 scales and items will be interpreted using evidence-based guidelines [50].
