Improved diagnostic strategies and therapeutic management have led to a 3.7% reduction in mortality between 2010 and 2018, and the survival rate is 93% at 5 years and 80% at 10 years [1], resulting in improved overall survival. However, treatment-related adverse events can be significant and have an impact on adherence to treatment, frequency of hospitalization and associated costs, as well as on the health-related quality of life of patients [2].
