Ensuring a Successful Transition From Cytology to Human Papillomavirus–Based Primary Cervical Cancer Screening in Canada by Investigating the Psychosocial Correlates of Women’s Intentions: Protocol for an Observational Study

We will calculate the effect size using Cohen h and Cohen d for proportions and continuous variables, respectively. Corresponding to objective 2, we will estimate the associations between psychosocial factors and intentions of HPV testing and self-sampling using multinomial logistic regression and model the log odds of PAPM stages (dependent variable) as a linear combination of the independent variables (eg, HPV testing knowledge and BWS preference scores).
