This finding is similar to the results from a comparable study conducted by Höllander-Mieritz et al [41] that investigated adherence to a smartwatch during radiotherapy among patients with head and neck cancer. Specific literature reviews show that it is possible to achieve high adherence to wearable technology in an oncology setting [30,42]. In general however, there is a tendency for compliance to decrease as the length of the study period increases.
