The Effect of a Remote Network Technology Supervised Exercise Program Combined With Drug Treatment for Fibromyalgia: Randomized, Single-Blind, Controlled Trial

The Effect of a Remote Network Technology Supervised Exercise Program Combined With Drug Treatment for Fibromyalgia: Randomized, Single-Blind, Controlled Trial

A previous study also demonstrated the efficacy and safety of duloxetine combined with pregabalin in the treatment of FM [5]. Relevant studies found that some patients with fibromyalgia who have been taking medication for a long time have adverse reactions such as dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, and vomiting, and some even stop taking the drug on their own because they cannot tolerate the adverse reactions [6,7], which results in the continued use of medication.

Evaluating a Mobile Digital Therapeutic for Vasomotor and Behavioral Health Symptoms Among Women in Midlife: Randomized Controlled Trial

Evaluating a Mobile Digital Therapeutic for Vasomotor and Behavioral Health Symptoms Among Women in Midlife: Randomized Controlled Trial

Recent studies have explored the efficacy of behavioral health interventions, such as CBT and mindfulness, which involve nonjudgmental awareness of internal state and surroundings [22], in improving health outcomes among menopausal women with promising results [23,24]. In a single-blind randomized controlled trial (RCT) by Greene et al [25], group-based, in-person CBT showed a reduction in VMS interference and bothersomeness, as well as depressive symptoms and sleep difficulties.

Integration of a Mental Health App (e-MICHI) Into a Blended Treatment of Depression in Adolescents: Single-Group, Naturalistic Feasibility Trial

Integration of a Mental Health App (e-MICHI) Into a Blended Treatment of Depression in Adolescents: Single-Group, Naturalistic Feasibility Trial

The statistical test interpretation was exploratory, except for the trends of efficacy outcomes for which this study was powered. A total of 61 participants were assessed for eligibility in this study. While informed consent was obtained from 57 individuals, 6 (11%) participants did not commence with the program. A further 15 (26%) participants dropped out (Figure 2).

Predicting Transvaginal Surgical Mesh Exposure Outcomes Using an Integrated Dataset of Blood Cytokine Levels and Medical Record Data: Machine Learning Approach

Predicting Transvaginal Surgical Mesh Exposure Outcomes Using an Integrated Dataset of Blood Cytokine Levels and Medical Record Data: Machine Learning Approach

In fact, supervised machine learning models have demonstrated efficacy in predicting various surgical outcomes, including patient survival, symptom improvement, and disease progression [7-9]. This efficacy is particularly evident when using datasets that integrate patient health care information and biological assessments.

Impact of Tai Chi Therapy on Fatigue and Cognitive Function in Individuals With Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

Impact of Tai Chi Therapy on Fatigue and Cognitive Function in Individuals With Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

However, the efficacy of these treatments remains controversial [16]. Moreover, they are often costly and may lead to adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal dysfunction, as well as liver and kidney damage. Patients undergoing these therapies are also at risk of relapse after discontinuing treatment. Therefore, there is an urgent need for safe and effective treatment options for CFS.

The Efficacy of Virtual Reality on the Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal Diseases: Umbrella Review

The Efficacy of Virtual Reality on the Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal Diseases: Umbrella Review

This review of existing meta-analyses aims to evaluate the efficacy of VR interventions on musculoskeletal disorders and assess the consistency of evidence from these studies. By providing decision-makers with a comprehensive source of high-quality research, this umbrella review seeks to methodically integrate relevant outcomes to create an extensive evidence base. An umbrella review was conducted to assess and compile evidence from multiple meta-analyses [9,10].

Efficacy of an Intelligent and Integrated Older Adult Care Model on Quality of Life Among Home-Dwelling Older Adults: Randomized Controlled Trial

Efficacy of an Intelligent and Integrated Older Adult Care Model on Quality of Life Among Home-Dwelling Older Adults: Randomized Controlled Trial

The simplified Chinese version of the Modified Fall Efficacy Scale (MFES) was used to evaluate the confidence in avoiding falls. This self-assessment scale comprises 14 items to quantitatively examine the degree of perceived self-efficacy in avoiding falling during basic activities, ranging from 0 (no confidence) to 10 (absolute confidence) [25]. The average score of each item is regarded as the final MFES score. A lower total score indicates lower confidence and a higher fear of falling.

Trustworthiness of Web-Based Pharmacy Apps in Pakistan Based on the Mobile App Rating Scale: Content Analysis and Quality Evaluation

Trustworthiness of Web-Based Pharmacy Apps in Pakistan Based on the Mobile App Rating Scale: Content Analysis and Quality Evaluation

Moreover, the robust association shown in prior research between the MARS sum score and the individual’s star rating suggests its efficacy in reflecting the overall perceived excellence [14]. Each reviewer conducted an independent evaluation of all the elements under the criteria of MARS for each of the apps. The average rating for each item within each app was computed using the numbers supplied by both evaluators.

The Efficacy of Digital Interventions on Adherence to Oral Systemic Anticancer Therapy Among Patients With Cancer: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

The Efficacy of Digital Interventions on Adherence to Oral Systemic Anticancer Therapy Among Patients With Cancer: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Factors such as complicated regimens, insufficient monitoring, poor communication, a lack of community support, mental health concerns, drug efficacy views, adverse effects, and financial load might contribute to nonadherence to oral SACT [6]. Clinicians may also neglect to mention the need for adherence and possible adverse effects, and patients may not have an adequate support system or understand the necessity of the medication [12].
