Low-Burden Electronic Health Record Strategies for Engaging Oncologists in Digital Health Behavior Change Interventions: Qualitative Interview Study

Low-Burden Electronic Health Record Strategies for Engaging Oncologists in Digital Health Behavior Change Interventions: Qualitative Interview Study

They posited that patients will likely find the intervention more trustworthy when discussed with a trusted professional with whom they have built a relationship during their active treatment period. Participants were willing to leverage their position and relationship to refer patients: We have that relationship with the patient. That’s probably a good segue rather than just some kind of random, unknown person calling them up.

Understanding Gender-Specific Daily Care Preferences: Topic Modeling Study

Understanding Gender-Specific Daily Care Preferences: Topic Modeling Study

Such delivery of person-centered care will enable better health-related quality of life for adults regardless of their care setting [15,16]. Regardless of age, daily care preferences are highly likely to be individualized and diverse based on individual values, sociodemographic factors, and care settings [11,12]. A recent study found significant gender differences in everyday living preferences among older adults [17].

An Exergames Program for Adolescents With Type 1 Diabetes: Qualitative Study of Acceptability

This paper will focus on the findings from a qualitative evaluation by eliciting participant perspectives on the acceptability of various aspects of the intervention as well as implications for their self-management practices to provide insight into the acceptability of Exer T1 D. The study was approved by the Yale University institutional review board (2000030105) and registered on Clinical Trials.gov (NCT05163912).

An Informatics-Based, Payer-Led, Low-Intensity Multichannel Educational Campaign Designed to Decrease Postdischarge Utilization for Medicare Advantage Members: Retrospective Evaluation

Immediate future research will aim to explore the incremental effect of additional channels. Interestingly, post hoc analysis within the enhanced outreach group revealed that members who received more channels experienced fewer ED admissions than those receiving fewer channels.

Smartphone- and Tablet-Based Tools to Assess Cognition in Individuals With Preclinical Alzheimer Disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment: Scoping Review

Smartphone- and Tablet-Based Tools to Assess Cognition in Individuals With Preclinical Alzheimer Disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment: Scoping Review

With the increasing number of older adults, it is expected that AD will become a major societal problem, estimated to affect 131 million people in 2050 worldwide [8,9]. The emergence of AD biomarkers allows for the recognition of the disease in the preclinical stage, which has opened a window of opportunity for treatment studies, as interventions are likely to be most beneficial in early stages of the disease.

Socioculturally Appropriate Internet-Based Geriatric Care Model for Older Adults Living With HIV: Experience-Based Co-Design Approach

Socioculturally Appropriate Internet-Based Geriatric Care Model for Older Adults Living With HIV: Experience-Based Co-Design Approach

By engaging those who will ultimately benefit from these interventions, co-design fosters a deeper understanding of their needs, preferences, and sociocultural contexts, leading to more tailored and impactful outcomes [80,81]. By involving older adults in the design process, the resulting solutions will be more relevant and effective in addressing their unique health challenges and sociocultural contexts.

ENABLE—App-Based Digital Capture and Intervention of Patient-Reported Quality of Life, Adverse Events, and Treatment Satisfaction in Breast Cancer: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

For future research, all accumulated data will be transferred into the individual clinic infrastructures after the study ends, and all externally hosted data will be permanently erased. An interim analysis of the secondary end points was conducted after 50% of the patients had been included and carried out by the Institute of Women’s Health Gmb H. The data monitoring committee is made up of the principal investigators from the Heidelberg and Tuebingen centers and is independent of the sponsor of the study.

Safety and User Experience of a Generative Artificial Intelligence Digital Mental Health Intervention: Exploratory Randomized Controlled Trial

Safety and User Experience of a Generative Artificial Intelligence Digital Mental Health Intervention: Exploratory Randomized Controlled Trial

We did not power our sample to detect a statistical outcome, and thus we will present descriptive statistics for the endpoints described in the “Results” section. We implemented technical guardrails to handle participant inputs and model outputs in the Gen-W-MA arm. These guardrails, which are the steps taken to ensure safe engagement with the LLM-enabled features, can be broken down into those for processing user inputs and those for reviewing model outputs before they are returned to a user.
