Identifying Deprescribing Opportunities With Large Language Models in Older Adults: Retrospective Cohort Study

All data were de-identified prior to analysis to ensure patient confidentiality. This study complies with ethical standards and guidelines for research involving human subjects. All older adults (aged 65 years and older) with polypharmacy (5 or more active outpatient medications) presenting to an ED in a large academic medical center in the Northeast United States between January 2022 and March 2022 were identified.
