Because patients were expected to engage in treatment at least once per month to receive a new 28-day prescription for MOUD, treatment engagement was defined as not having a greater than 35-day gap (1-week grace period) in appointment attendance or urine drug testing during the study period, as measured by EHR data provided by the Center.
The number of days patients created daily logs was not included in these comparisons due to insufficient sample size.
