Predictors and Correlates of Depression and Anxiety Symptom Trajectories in a Large Digital Mental Health Provider: Retrospective Analysis of Data From Rula Health

Visual inspection of the raw data indicated that a non-linear function of time should be applied (see Figure 1). Visual fit has been cited as a way to determine knot placement in spline models [35-38]. As a result, we applied a linear spline model with a knot at visit 5, allowing us to model slopes between visits 1‐5 and 6‐12 separately.

A Supplemental Women’s Health Questionnaire for Women Veterans With Military Environmental Exposures: Project Development and Implementation

A Supplemental Women’s Health Questionnaire for Women Veterans With Military Environmental Exposures: Project Development and Implementation

This increase represents a more than 300% growth among women using VA primary care [3], yet despite these improvements, women are still a minoritized group with less than 30% of all women veterans enrolled in VA services [2]. Within the VA, women are more likely to have higher outpatient utilization, be younger, and represent a more racially or ethnically diverse group compared to men [2].

Sodium Oxybate as a Potential New Treatment for Catatonia in Patients With Depression, Bipolar Disorder, or a Psychotic Disorder: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Sodium Oxybate as a Potential New Treatment for Catatonia in Patients With Depression, Bipolar Disorder, or a Psychotic Disorder: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

It is hypothesized that catatonia is caused by either a dysfunction of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors or a deficit in GABA [6,7]. Current treatment options target this neurotransmitter imbalance. Catatonia is a clinical syndrome characterized by a distinct constellation of psychomotor disturbances. A total of 2 subtypes have been described: retarded and excited [1,2].

Specifically, when VR was used as a skills trainer, a meta-analysis showed positive results in creating practice opportunities to increase knowledge-based skills [34]. Furthermore, a meta-analysis that supported the addition of VR to a variety of psychological treatments showed promising results and that it has the potential to support clinical populations [33].
