Intervention With WhatsApp Messaging to Compare the Effect of Self-Designed Messages and Standardized Messages in Adherence to Antiretroviral Treatment in Young People Living With HIV in a Hospital in Lima, Peru: Protocol for a Nonblinded Randomized Controlled Trial

This definition lets us know how many participants are active each week of intervention. Additionally, we will perform a descriptive analysis of participants’ baseline characteristics overall and by study groups. We will also report the percentage of participants adherent to ART per study group at 4, 8, and 12 weeks of intervention. We will describe the characteristics of the intervention delivery, including the frequencies and percentages of messages received, read, and answered by participants.

estimates from the reference system, expressed in percentage, as shown in the following formulas (SWD refers to the single wearable device, and RS refers to the reference system): Mean error = (1 / n) × Σ from i=1 to n ([DMO_SWDi– DMO_RSi]) MRE = (1 / n) × Σ from i=1 to n ([(DMO_SWDi– DMO_RSi)/DMO_RSi] × 100) Mean absolute error = (1 / n) × Σ from i=1 to n (|DMO_SWDi – DMO_RSi|) MARE = (1 / n) × Σ from i=1 to n ([|DMO_SWDi – DMO_RSi|/DMO_RSi] × 100) For reliability, the ICC(2,1) [44] was computed to evaluate how

Quality and Misinformation About Health Conditions in Online Peer Support Groups: Scoping Review

Quality and Misinformation About Health Conditions in Online Peer Support Groups: Scoping Review

RQ 1.2: How have researchers assessed the quality of information and advice exchanged in online peer support groups about health conditions? Scoping reviews aim to identify and map the key concepts within a research area regarding its nature, features, and volume. Such reviews often address a broad RQ and include a variety of study designs [33,34].

Providing Education and Training to Health Care Professionals to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities: Protocol for Implementation Project Using Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Maintenance Framework

Providing Education and Training to Health Care Professionals to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities: Protocol for Implementation Project Using Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Maintenance Framework

Three project directors collaborated with two project consultants to develop a curriculum that balanced and integrated content from all subject areas, focusing on building participants’ knowledge of how these subject areas inform and enrich one another. The project consultants served as experts and coaches in their respective areas of expertise and coordinated the contributions of other SMEs within their assigned faculty teams.

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation to Maximize Hip Abductor Strength and Reduce Fall Risk in Older Veterans: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation to Maximize Hip Abductor Strength and Reduce Fall Risk in Older Veterans: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

While we anticipate that NMES will primarily maximize changes in the gluteus medius and gluteus minimus (the primary hip abductors), we will also examine how changes in these muscles, along with the tensor fasciae lata, contribute to changes in fall risk and strength. If changes in the TFL are advantageous, this information can be used to design a future trial targeting the use of the TFL to compensate for maladaptive changes in the primary hip abductors.

Evaluation of a Digital Media Campaign to Promote Knowledge and Awareness of the GPFirst Program for Nonurgent Conditions: Repeated Survey Study

Evaluation of a Digital Media Campaign to Promote Knowledge and Awareness of the GPFirst Program for Nonurgent Conditions: Repeated Survey Study

While numerous studies have explored the use of DM in promoting healthier lifestyle practices [15,25], gaps remain in understanding its impact in promoting specific health program awareness and knowledge and how this impact may vary across diverse age groups. Addressing these gaps is also crucial for advancing health equity [26,27], as awareness and understanding of health programs can vary significantly among different demographic segments, which could lead to unequal access to its benefits.

The storytelling method to encourage individuals to learn how relevant peers have successfully solved a similar problem is also conceptualized in Social Cognitive Theory [33,34]. Being expanded by Albert Bandura [35], Social Cognitive Theory studies individuals’ behavior change through the impact of individuals’ experiences, the achievements of others, and the influences from surroundings [36].

Extended Reality (XR) in Pediatric Acute and Chronic Pain: Systematic Review and Evidence Gap Map

Extended Reality (XR) in Pediatric Acute and Chronic Pain: Systematic Review and Evidence Gap Map

We undertook this task and, as a part of this effort, conducted a systematic review to summarize the current state of the literature with a specific aim toward understanding how researchers are currently assessing XR effectiveness. Therefore, the purpose of this systematic review was to describe the feasibility, safety, and effectiveness of XR for pediatric acute and chronic pain. Moreover, this review collated current research to establish an evidence and gap map for guiding future research efforts.
