The Dementia Foundations Program was created using evidence-based principles for multimedia learning outlined by Mayer [12] and Clark and Mayer [13]. The findings from the current study indicate that this entirely asynchronous web-based program is a useful and effective training modality for improving dementia-related knowledge among unregulated care providers.
